By purchasing from ChewingurNails, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.
The standard processing time is approximately 2-3 weeks. You’re welcome to reach out at any point during this period if you’d like an update on your order’s progress. If the processing time for an order needs to be extended, the customer will be notified accordingly.
If any required information (including sizing, contact details, or other personal details) is incorrect or incomplete, ChewingurNails will reach out to request clarification. If no response is received within 7 days of contact, the order will be cancelled and refunded, as the order cannot proceed without the necessary information.
A picture proof of the completed order will be provided via Instagram DM or email (whichever you have indicated while filling up your order) once the order is ready to be shipped.

What to Know Before Ordering
Sizing & Fit
Customers are responsible for providing accurate sizing information. Please refer to the sizing guide here for different methods of measuring your nails at home. ChewingurNails is not liable for improper fitting resulting from incorrect measurements.
A Sizing Kit is optional but strongly recommended, especially for first-time customers or when selecting new shapes or lengths.
You may use your sizes from a previous sizing kit made with Aprés Natural Nail Tips, even if the shape or length differs from the set you’re purchasing. However, please note that in some cases there may be slight millimetre differences in sizing between shapes or lengths.

Handcrafted Details & Colour Variation
All nail sets are handmade and hand-painted, making each piece unique. While consistency and quality are prioritised, slight variations in design, detailing, and colour may occur due to lighting conditions, screen differences, and the handmade nature of the product.
For custom nail sets, minor colour differences may occur between the final product and the initial design draft. For recreation nail sets, colours are custom mixed and selected to closely replicate the original design; however, exact matches cannot be guaranteed, as the same polishes used by the original artist may not be available.
These variations are considered part of the handmade process and are not regarded as defects.
Custom & Mystery Nail Sets
For custom nail sets, up to three rounds of design revisions are included. Any additional revision requests beyond this will incur additional charges.
For mystery nail sets, designs are created entirely based on the artist’s interpretation. This option should only be selected by customers who are comfortable with full creative freedom. Dissatisfaction with the final design is not considered grounds for revisions, refunds, or exchanges.
Rush Orders
Rush orders are available on a limited basis. Customers are required to reach out before purchasing via Instagram DM @chewingurnails or email chewingurnails@gmail.com, if there is a specific date the order is required by. This allows availability and scheduling to be checked in advance.
Rush orders are defined as any orders requested to be completed before the standard processing time of 2-3 weeks. Where possible, rush orders may be ready as early as the next day, though timelines may vary depending on current workload.
An additional fee of SGD 15 per set applies to all rush orders.
Customers may opt for self-collection or same-day delivery if they prefer not to proceed with the usual tracked mailing method. These options are available for local Singapore orders only. Self-collection is available for free, while same-day delivery can be arranged with delivery fees borne by the customer.

Cancellation, Returns, Exchanges & Design Changes
Due to hygiene reasons and the made-to-order nature of each press-on set, all sales are final once an order has been placed. Cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges and design changes are not accepted after order confirmation.
Size, shape, or length changes may be accommodated only if production has not yet started. Once production has begun, any changes will be treated as replacement nails.
Refunds, where applicable, apply only to orders cancelled due to administrative or fulfilment constraints, and do not apply to change of mind or personal preference.
Shipping & Delivery
All orders are carefully packed before dispatch. Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery handling and timelines are managed by the courier service.
If your parcel is delayed, missing, or arrives damaged, please reach out within 48 hours of receiving the latest delivery update or upon delivery. Photos may be requested, such as in cases of damage.
Support will be provided, including liaising with the courier to assist with tracking or investigations (may take up to 3 months). Each case will be reviewed individually, and compensation or reimbursements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Customers are kindly asked to ensure all delivery details are accurate at checkout. If any information is incorrect, please reach out as soon as possible so assistance can be provided before the order is shipped. Any changes requiring reprinting of the shipment label will incur an additional shipping fee. In some cases, this may be waived. Once an order has been shipped, changes will no longer be possible.
Estimated delivery times:
- Local tracked mail: 2–4 business days
- Standard international delivery: 6–16 business days
- Express international delivery: 2–5 business days

International Shipping - Additional Taxes & Duties
[International Orders] Most international orders are shipped under DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning taxes and duties are calculated and covered at checkout. For more information regarding DDP and DDU, please refer to the Shipping section, under the FAQ page.
Please note that even if your country is not listed under the DDU-only page, customs authorities may still impose additional taxes, duties, or handling fees upon arrival. This is especially possible when standard shipping is selected, as customs assessments are ultimately determined by local authorities and are outside our control.
If you prefer not to handle any customs payments or paperwork, it is best to select express shipping for a smoother delivery experience.

If the customs fee is billed to Chewingurnails, you will be contacted and an invoice for the additional payment will be sent to you. Once payment is made, we will handle the remaining process on our end. If there is no response or payment within 7 days, the order will be cancelled. As the set would already be completed, no refund will be issued.
If customs contacts you directly instead, payment must be made to them in order for the parcel to be released and delivered.
Chewingurnails will not be responsible should the recipient choose not to pay the required customs fees, resulting in their order being seized or destroyed by customs. However, in cases where the order is returned to Chewingurnails, you will be contacted and the necessary arrangements will be handled to ship the order again to you.
